We are looking for an Indirect Materials Buyer to support the procurement process of inputs and services for industrial maintenance and equipment for new processes. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Develop and qualify international suppliers of direct materials, steel, and domestic freight services, aligned with company requirements, market opportunities, and the Integrated Quality and Environmental Management System; * Monitor the execution of international purchase orders, ensuring on-time delivery, documentary compliance, and adherence to internal procedures; * Research and negotiate with international suppliers, evaluating commercial, technical, and quality conditions, as well as total acquisition cost (including exchange rates, taxes, tariffs, and logistics); * Contract and manage international freight services (maritime, air, and road), considering costs, lead times, risks, and reliability of logistics operators; * Monitor international and national steel markets, identifying price trends, exchange rate fluctuations, and supply conditions to support strategic procurement decisions; * Maintain up-to-date commercial records in management systems (ERP), including price lists, contracts, and supply terms, ensuring reliable information for decision-making; * Act as a consultative support to internal customers, advising on supply alternatives, import feasibility, timelines, and associated risks; * Propose improvements to international procurement processes, focusing on cost reduction, enhanced competitiveness, logistical efficiency, and sustainability; * Participate in the formalization of international supply contracts, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, applicable legislation, and sound compliance practices. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, International Trade, or related fields; * Postgraduate degree or MBA in Supply Chain Management, International Procurement, or International Business is considered a plus. * Advanced English (negotiation, reading contracts and technical documents); * Intermediate/advanced Spanish is considered a plus. * ERP experience (SAP, Protheus, Oracle, Tecnicon, among others); * Advanced Excel and Power BI (for cost reports, KPIs, and trend analysis); * Critical analysis and problem-solving skills, with a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) perspective; * Intercultural negotiation and assertive communication with international suppliers; * Planning and organizational skills, ensuring timely delivery and compliance; * Strategic decision-making capability based on market and risk analysis; * Interpersonal skills for collaboration within multidisciplinary teams. **Additional Information** * This position is onsite; * Willingness to work in Viamão; * Working hours: Monday to Friday, from 07:30 to 17:03; **Benefits** * Unimed Health Insurance with co-payment for monthly premium and consultations; * Dental plan with co-payment for monthly premium; * Chartered transportation or Transport Allowance; * On-site cafeteria; * Meal Card; * Life insurance; : #### **A FORCE IN MOTION** #### **The largest Latin American manufacturer of suspension, steering, and braking components for light vehicles.** #### **Our focus is on improving performance through operational excellence, competitiveness, profitability, and high performance—driven by safety, quality, continuous improvement, process innovation, and supported by an agile and structured methodology.** #### **To achieve these goals—with our customers at the center—our people have developed the Viemar Way of Being, grounded in our strong core values.** #### **We believe our greatest asset is our people.
