Join us and become a Heartist®. **Job Description** **Position Objective** Ensure the company’s tax compliance by coordinating the calculation, review, and submission of tax obligations; minimize tax risks; advise internal departments and support strategic decision-making through tax analysis; identify opportunities for tax efficiency and savings; lead the team and promote continuous improvement of tax processes and systems. **Key Responsibilities** * Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory obligations related to taxes, including calculation, payment, offsetting, and submission of ancillary obligations. * Monitor, interpret, and ensure correct application of current tax legislation, advising the team on updates and their business impacts. * Ensure proper tax classification of transactions and documents. * Control tax credits and ensure their appropriate use per applicable legislation. * Analyze tax impacts on commercial, financial, and corporate transactions. * Serve as the focal point during tax audits and internal and external audits. * Support and monitor responses to tax inquiries, notices, and assessments, ensuring timely legal responses and mitigating litigation risks. * Identify tax opportunities and support tax planning, aiming to optimize tax burden and cash flow. * Support internal departments (Accounting, Finance, Legal, Procurement, Operations) as well as management in decisions involving tax implications. * Issue technical opinions on legislation, tax classifications, and special transactions. * Develop, review, and strengthen internal controls and tax processes, promoting tax compliance and risk reduction. * Prepare tax-related accounting reconciliations and maintain supporting documentation, digital files, and network archives. * Manage updates and improvements to ERPs and tax systems. * Monitor legislative changes and implement necessary operational adjustments. * Support the company’s strategic initiatives and new business models. * Train staff, set goals, track KPIs, and monitor team performance to ensure high-quality delivery of tax obligations. **Qualifications** **Requirements** * Completed Bachelor’s degree. * Experience with direct taxes. * Solid knowledge of tax legislation. * Proficiency in ancillary obligations and tax calculation. * Knowledge of audit and inspection processes. * Prior experience in routine tax/tributary activities. * Experience leading teams. * Experience with integrated systems (ERP) and tax tools. * Advanced Excel proficiency. **Additional Information** * Providing an exceptional experience—not only for guests but for all employees—is the Heartist purpose at Accor.
