Ensures timely flow of medical records One of the largest hospital groups in the country is hiring: **SENIOR BILLING ANALYST** **Unit:** OTO MEIRELES **Location:** Fortaleza \- CE **Department:** Billing **Responsibilities:** Perform daily hospital census verification to identify and request authorization for uncovered daily allowances, new admissions, or changes in accommodation for inpatients (extensions), thereby formalizing the operator’s responsibility for continued treatment and supporting billing on the hospital bill; Discuss bottlenecks, doubts, or strategies with coordination, as needed, aiming for effective solutions and satisfactory authorization outcomes within the shortest possible time, thus ensuring the operator’s financial responsibility for the proposed treatment and guaranteeing that charges are formally supported by the hospital bill or directly billed to the operator by credentialed professionals; Ensure that the receipt process of signed medical records between Nursing and Billing Management—executed by Clinical Secretaries and Discharge Billers—is completed within established deadlines (24 hours) following hospital discharge or partial-period closure\*, according to contractual terms agreed upon with each operator. **Requirements:** Completed high school education or currently pursuing higher education. Experience in hospital billing and authorization of claim forms and health plan routine procedures; Proficiency in inpatient billing; Knowledge of health plan routine procedures, inpatient procedure authorizations, and medical record organization; Familiarity with MV Information System – Billing module.
