Opportunity to improve controls and operational routines. ### **About the Role** We are looking for a Billing Assistant to work at the CSC, executing billing routines with operational autonomy, focusing on verification, data entry, pending issue analysis, and support for monthly closing. We seek an organized, proactive professional with strong analytical skills to contribute to billing consistency and reduced rework. **Main Responsibilities** * Receive, organize, and analyze invoices, authorizations, medical orders, forms, registrations, and billing documents * Enter procedures, materials, and accounts into departmental systems and spreadsheets * Identify registration discrepancies, missing documents, and information inconsistencies * Monitor pending items and their resolution in coordination with internal departments * Support monthly closing by health plan and unit, organizing protocols, proof of submission, and files * Track simple administrative reversals and denials, contributing to adjustments and loss reduction * Maintain communication with reception, authorization, nursing, finance, and units regarding deadlines, documents, and submission criteria * Support improvements to controls, checklists, and departmental operational routines **Requirements** * Completed high school education * Technical or undergraduate degree in Administration, Hospital Management, Management Processes, Hospital Billing, or related fields (preferred, but currently enrolled candidates are acceptable) * Intermediate knowledge of health plan billing, invoices, authorizations, registrations, and billing documents * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, operational controls, and closing routines * Good typing speed, attention to detail, organizational skills, and sense of priority **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working with clinics, health plans, monthly closing, and handling pending items * Experience organizing billing documents and tracking administrative denials Minimum Education Level: High School (Secondary Education)
