**Job Title:** Industrial Painter **Job Description:** Responsible for the preparation and application of paints and coatings on metal or structural surfaces, using compressed air spray guns and other industrial painting equipment. Ensures finish quality, compliance with technical standards, and safety, environmental, and occupational health regulations. **Requirements:** * High school diploma; * Operation of compressed air spray gun and/or airless * Surface preparation * Types of paints (PU, epoxy, synthetic enamel, anti-corrosive, etc.) * Reading technical data sheets and application instructions * Techniques related to dew point, flash point, drying and curing times **Preferred Qualifications:** * Previous experience as an industrial painter or in similar areas. * Knowledge of sandblasting and anti-corrosion treatments **Main Responsibilities:** * Prepare surfaces for painting (cleaning, sanding, degreasing, residue removal, application of primers, fillers and undercoats). * Operate **compressed air spray gun** and **airless** painting systems according to technical specifications. * Prepare, catalyze and adjust paints, enamels or coatings following technical data sheets and manufacturer guidelines. * Conduct adhesion tests, film thickness measurements, and finish quality inspections. * Perform masking and isolation of areas that should not be painted. * Identify non-conformities and perform touch-ups or rework when necessary. * Perform basic maintenance on painting equipment and keep tools clean and organized. * Strictly follow **SSMA (Health, Safety and Environment)** standards and **NR\-06, NR\-12 and NR\-18**, including proper use of PPE and collective protection equipment. * Fill out production records, material consumption reports, and daily inspection logs. **Behavioral Competencies** * Attention to detail * Discipline regarding safety standards * Organization and care of equipment * Teamwork * Responsibility and timeliness Benefits: * Breakfast and lunch provided at the company.
