Experience in technical areas—beyond procurement—is desirable * Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (formulas, functions, charts, and presentations) * Advanced Office suite (other tools) * SAP, SAP Ariba * Knowledge of Strategic Sourcing methodologies * Electronic auction techniques and tools (ARIBA) and cost drivers—desirable * Business Intelligence (B.I.) tools (KPIs and dashboards)—desirable * Macro, Python, or R—desirable Differentiators: * Advanced English (reading, speaking, writing) * Spanish (advanced reading, basic speaking and writing) What you’ll do daily: * Technical Buyer responsible for the strategic procurement of Supply and Innovation items (equipment, materials, and services for the Network), managing end-to-end processes with interaction across internal customers, headquarters in Mexico, suppliers, and internal support areas—ensuring organizational goals are met. Experience in the telecommunications market and/or in Latin American countries—or procurement activities across Asia—is a differentiator. * Strategic negotiation, grounded in procurement techniques, cost structure analysis, and macroeconomic analysis to define business parameters; * Defining, aligning, and tracking requirements with customer areas to launch RFX processes (RFIs, RFQs, or RFPs); * Analyzing, negotiating, and implementing global agreements—including potential coordination with headquarters in Mexico (differentiator: experience in Asian markets, especially China); * Proposing cost improvements and optimization through spend analysis, application and mastery of Strategic Sourcing programs, TCO/Should-Cost levers—ensuring delivery of savings to the company; * Preparing comparative analyses and cost structures to support defense of the company’s budget, when required; * Preparing and issuing reports, presenting results for executive leadership approval, contract administration, process development and monitoring, and interaction/knowledge exchange within the team; * Monitoring and ensuring compliance with KPIs, purchase order workflows, contract utilization, and other procurement processes; * Supplier prospecting and management—with startups as a differentiator; 251221020255871694
