




**Description:** a) Certificate of completion or diploma from a medium-level technical education course in Occupational Safety, issued by an educational institution recognized by the Ministry of Education, State Secretariats or State Councils of Education, and professional registration issued by the Ministry of Labor. 6 months of experience. RESPONSIBILITIES a) Monitor activities carried out by contracted companies regarding occupational safety and health procedures stipulated in legislation and/or specified in service contracts; b) Analyze the CONTRACTOR’s work methods and processes, identify workplace accident risk factors, occupational diseases, work-related illnesses, and the presence of environmental hazards affecting workers, proposing their elimination or control; c) Assess workplace environmental conditions and issue technical opinions to support safe planning and organization of work for employees; d) Support environmental protection activities by raising workers’ awareness of their importance; e) Recommend the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protective Equipment (CPE) in accordance with Normative Rule NR 6, issued by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security; f) Forward standards, regulations, documentation, statistical data, analysis and evaluation results, technical and educational support materials, and other dissemination resources related to Occupational Safety to competent departments and areas, for employee knowledge and self-development; g) Carry out occupational safety and health activities using scientific methods and techniques, observing legal and institutional provisions aimed at eliminating, controlling, or reducing workplace accident risks and improving working environment conditions to preserve workers’ physical and mental integrity; h) Implement occupational safety and health procedures and evaluate achieved results; i) Advise on the implementation of workplace accident, occupational disease, and work-related illness prevention programs involving workers, monitoring and evaluating their outcomes, as well as suggesting continuous updates and procedural improvements; Inform the employer, through a technical opinion, about existing workplace risks, as well as advising on measures for their elimination, neutralization, or reduction; j) Inform the employer about unhealthy, hazardous, and arduous activities present in the company, their specific risks, and measures and alternatives for their elimination or neutralization; k) Inform the employer about risks identified in the company’s activities, as well as measures for their elimination, neutralization, or reduction; l) Collect and analyze workplace accident, occupational disease, and work-related illness statistics, calculating frequency and severity to support preventive actions enabling collective and individual protection; m) Guide and act as an educator in specific Occupational Safety training, and advise on developing general training programs concerning Occupational Safety; n) Participate in awareness-raising, education, and guidance initiatives for workers to prevent workplace accidents and occupational diseases, both through campaigns and permanent programs; o) Participate in debates, meetings, campaigns, seminars, lectures, workshops, and training sessions, and utilize other didactic and pedagogical resources to disseminate occupational safety and health standards, as well as technical, administrative, and preventive topics, aiming to prevent workplace accidents and occupational diseases; p) Attend seminars, training sessions, congresses, and courses to promote professional exchange and development; q) Inspect fire protection equipment, audiovisual resources, and other materials deemed indispensable according to current legislation, verifying compliance with required quality and technical specifications; r) Assume technical responsibility for guiding compliance with applicable Normative Rules (NRs) governing the company’s and/or its establishments’ activities; s) Identify, assess, and advise on controlling occupational risks in workplaces; t) Analyze risks, accidents, and incidents, investigating causes, proposing preventive and corrective measures, and guiding statistical analyses—including cost-related aspects; u) Prepare Ergonomic Work Analyses for activities, environments, and/or workstations of BB Tecnologia e Serviços; v) Verify, when requested, the application of occupational safety standards in construction, expansion, renovation, physical layout, and workflow projects, ensuring compliance with occupational safety and health measures, including those applied by third parties. w) Conduct inspections, prepare technical opinions, monitor technical expert assessments—including judicial ones—render judgments, draft technical opinions, questions for experts, technical reports, objections, and any other documents related to expert assessment proceedings for validation by occupational safety engineers, and recommend protective and control measures within the scope of Occupational Safety; x) Promote training for members of the Internal Commission for Accident Prevention (CIPA), whenever necessary, as stipulated in NR 5 and official recommendations. y) Monitor and support the establishment (implementation) and operation of CIPAs; z) Support and coordinate with CIPAs in organizing the Internal Week for Workplace Accident Prevention (SIPAT), including delivering mandatory-topic lectures; aa) Analyze and monitor outcomes of implemented solutions within the incumbent’s area of responsibility, proposing adjustments when necessary; bb) Ensure customer satisfaction regarding services under the incumbent’s responsibility; cc) Monitor occupational safety activities performed by contracted companies or professionals; dd) Identify, collect, and provide restricted or confidential data required for preparing technical reports on services under the incumbent’s supervision; ee) Take necessary measures to safeguard strategic information or business-confidential information entrusted to or accessed by the incumbent due to their assigned responsibilities; ff) Carry out additional actions necessary to protect the interests of BB Tecnologia e Serviços and achieve objectives defined for the area, in accordance with internal and external regulatory requirements; gg) Advise departments on actions to be taken upon receiving notifications or citations related to Occupational Safety. hh) Promote worker orientation, information, and awareness activities to prevent accidents, work-related illnesses, and harassment. ii) Maintain ongoing coordination with the contracting party’s Internal Commission for Accident Prevention (CIPA), acting as a multiplier agent, proposing corrective, preventive, and improvement actions. jj) Act as consultant and reviewer for documents related to Occupational Health and Safety Normative Rules, such as PGR, LTCAT, PCMSO, among others. 2512210202551876331
