Job Summary: A professional to perform general building maintenance, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing work, as well as repairs to equipment and safety systems. Key Highlights: 1. General building maintenance (painting, restrooms, electrical and plumbing) 2. Repairs to forklifts, pallet jacks, fire protection systems, and shopping carts 3. Inspection and repair of operational installations and equipment Assist with general building maintenance activities, including wall painting, restroom maintenance, lamp replacement, ballasts, sensors, electrical and plumbing work. Perform electrical, mechanical, and plumbing maintenance tasks, including replacing, swapping, cleaning, repairing, and installing parts, components, and equipment. Maintain electric forklifts and pallet jacks, assisting with bearing and wheel replacement, and other hydraulic repairs. Conduct required tests on fire protection systems, hydrants, hoses, extinguishers, and sprinklers, performing necessary repairs. Assist in inspecting installations of operational equipment in the store, warehouse, and cold rooms, carrying out required repairs. Identify and replace lamps in backlights, and internal and external areas of the store, warehouse, and cold rooms. Clean water tanks and repair lightning protection systems. Repair hydraulic and customer shopping carts requiring maintenance. Check door operation, performing necessary adjustments and repairs. Understand risks associated with assigned tasks and corresponding control measures, aiming to eliminate workplace hazards (dangers) and unsafe behaviors. Combat waste through reduction, reuse, and recycling of materials and products.
