We are seeking a **Cook** to work in a school kitchen, ensuring appropriate meal preparation, compliance with hygiene and food safety standards, and contributing to healthy and balanced nutrition for students. **Responsibilities** * Prepare meals according to the menu established by the nutritionist, following quality standards and portioning guidelines. * Clean, cut, and prepare food in accordance with good handling practices. * Operate kitchen equipment (oven, stove, industrial pots, blender, etc.) responsibly. * Monitor cooking time, cooking process, and food temperatures. * Maintain organization of utensils and work surfaces. * Strictly adhere to hygiene standards, food safety regulations, and internal school procedures. **Requirements** * Completed elementary education. * Prior experience as a cook, preferably in schools, daycare centers, or high-volume kitchens. * Knowledge of Good Food Handling Practices (GHP). * Ability to work collaboratively, with organization and agility. * Availability to work scheduled hours. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with children's or school nutrition.
