This professional will be responsible for managing Occupational Safety processes at its Distribution Center, ensuring compliance, accident prevention, and applicable legal requirements. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and working conditions to identify hazards and assess associated risks; develop and implement action plans to eliminate or mitigate identified risks; * Ensure compliance with Regulatory Standards (NRs) and other applicable occupational health and safety legislation; maintain updated and organized Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) documentation; * Develop and deliver training on workplace safety, proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), emergency procedures, and other safe practices; promote awareness campaigns to foster a safety culture; * Investigate workplace accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective and preventive measures to avoid recurrence; prepare detailed incident reports; * Specify, recommend, and supervise the use, storage, and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Collective Protective Equipment (CPE), ensuring suitability for risks associated with each activity; * Prepare and maintain records, technical reports, inspection reports, and expert opinions regarding workplace safety conditions; manage documentation for the Internal Accident Prevention Committee (CIPA); * Develop and conduct the Annual Internal Occupational Safety Week (SIPAT); * Conduct Occupational Safety audits across work areas; **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed Technical Course in Occupational Safety, with active professional registration at the Ministry of Labor and Employment (MTE); * Prior experience in this role is desirable, especially in industrial environments and distribution centers; * Knowledge of Regulatory Standards (NRs) and labor and social security legislation related to occupational health and safety. **Additional Information** * Experience in the food industry; * Knowledge of legal requirement management systems. * **Effective Communication:** Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all organizational levels—from leadership to frontline employees. * **Critical Analysis and Problem Solving:** Ability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions. * **Proactivity and Initiative:** Willingness to anticipate problems and act preventively, continuously seeking improvement of safety processes. * **Organization and Planning:** Competence to manage multiple tasks, prioritize activities, and maintain organized and accessible documentation. * **Interpersonal Skills:** Ability to build trust-based relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and departments.
