Educational Psychologist (Monthly Contract) \- RP 18389 \- Fiep System (Fiep, Sesi, Senai, and IEL) What are the challenges and key responsibilities? Promote students’ emotional health and socioemotional development. Collaborate with the School Monitoring Leader in analyzing, managing, and monitoring disciplinary and behavioral situations. Support conflict mediation among students using educational, preventive, and restorative approaches. Guide monitors and school staff on appropriate strategies for student engagement, behavior management, and assertive communication. Contribute to implementing the School Bylaws, especially regarding coexistence, conduct, and discipline. Provide active listening and guidance to students, respecting the scope of practice of the school psychologist. Support dialogue with parents and guardians in cases involving emotional or behavioral aspects, following institutional protocols. Prepare technical records and institutional reports to support decision-making by school leadership. **Requirements:** What are the main requirements? Completed undergraduate degree in Psychology. Active registration with the Regional Psychology Council (CRP/PR), without outstanding debts; Postgraduate qualification in the educational field is desirable. Availability for in-person work in a school environment. Basic knowledge of child and adolescent development. Understanding of the school context and dynamics of educational coexistence. Previous experience as a school psychologist or within educational institutions is desirable. Knowledge of restorative practices and conflict mediation is desirable. Experience working interdisciplinarily with pedagogical teams is desirable.
