Monitor HSE objectives and compliance with standards **Job Summary** The HSE Specialist will be responsible for supporting local management in establishing and continuously improving the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture within the workplace. They will be responsible for conducting site visits to operational fields. **Additional Responsibilities** * Develop management awareness and ensure that HSE policies and standards are integrated into line management responsibilities and objectives. * Assist management with: understanding and implementing the HSE Management System; monitoring HSE objectives; interfacing with local contractors and regulatory agencies on HSE matters; assessing local risks; developing local HSE procedures, work instructions, and checklists; preparing and tracking HSE plans that define how the HSE Management System is implemented at the unit level; monitoring compliance with policies, standards, and procedures; conducting compliance audits and self-assessments. * Advise management on necessary corrective actions. * Coordinate and participate in HSE training for personnel, including contractors. * Coordinate HSE campaigns for personnel and contractors. * Stay updated on new HSE-related documentation and training materials, and inform management when necessary. * Ensure HSE documentation is up-to-date and available on-site. * Advise management on the local level of compliance with Schlumberger standards, local regulations, and host-country requirements. * Monitor and track HSE reports and facilitate HSE meetings and audits. * Support management in incident and accident investigations. * Maintain a high level of HSE awareness among employees through communication, training, and encouragement of participation in HSE programs. * Recommend improvements to the HSE program. * Review QUEST to ensure recorded data is accurate and up-to-date. * Analyze HSE trends for the unit/local site. **Minimum Requirements** Technical qualification in Occupational Safety Experience as a safety technician, preferably in operations within the **O&G** industry.
