




Joining the Credit Granting Data Team means embedding a data-driven culture into daily operations. Here, your main responsibilities will include investigating, mining, correlating, and analyzing information by applying data analysis methodologies and techniques. Based on these investigations, you will build metrics and indicators, design processes, conduct studies, and use the results to create or refine credit granting strategies. We maintain continuous contact with other departments and Credit Cooperatives, as our deliverables are jointly coordinated. Therefore, topics and working groups may vary over time. We participate in multiple stages of studies, ranging from subject comprehension and formulation of key questions, to searching for relevant data, data structuring, data analysis, and presenting results. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform ETL (extraction, transformation, and loading) processes; * Automate departmental processes and routines; * Work with data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques; * Extract data from source systems in an easy-to-use and readily consumable format; * Support the development of data pipelines, prioritizing quality, performance, and pipeline sustainability; * Administer databases according to best practices; * Interact with various roles involved in the data and systems lifecycle (analysts, other engineers, data scientists, and business analysts); * Participate in the Data Engineers Chapter, encouraging and promoting the dissemination of data culture among colleagues and teams across our operations; * Maintain necessary documentation for your deliverables; * Continuously improve your technical skills; **Requirements and Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, or related disciplines is desirable; * Analytical thinking; * Strong writing, synthesis, and communication skills; Experience using Apache Spark; * Experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, or Scala; * Experience with credit-related data; * Databricks knowledge for building and managing big data pipelines is desirable; * Knowledge of data modeling techniques to design efficient data schemas is desirable; * Intermediate English proficiency is desirable; * Knowledge of the Financial Market and Credit is desirable; **Additional Information** At the **Sicredi Administrative Center (CAS)**, for positions in business areas, we adopt a hybrid work model consolidated at 3 days on-site at the company headquarters located at Av.
