We seek a BIM and Autodesk technologies specialist with backend development experience to translate Civil Engineering, Estimating, and BIM Guidelines into reliable quantity take-offs derived from BIM models. This professional will also engage in Context Engineering—organizing BIM domain rules, exceptions, and guidelines clearly and structurally—ensuring both code and AI usage accurately reflect business knowledge. **Responsibilities and Assignments** **Main Responsibilities** * Apply BIM and Autodesk expertise to define and evolve rules correlating BIM model parameters to quantity surveying and estimating items. * Implement and enhance Python-based backend systems, translating BIM domain rules into reliable computational logic. * Work on BIM data / raw data standardization, ingestion, compilation, relational mapping, and integrations with ACC, SAP, and corporate systems. * Design and evolve backend services following Clean Architecture, SOLID, and DDD principles, ensuring clarity, traceability, and predictability of rules. * Translate Engineering, Estimating, and BIM guidelines into auditable computational rules. * Understand construction processes and anticipate real-world design exceptions and their systemic impacts. * Enhance correlation, validation, and verification rules for BIM models and their budgetary implications. * Create and maintain /specify, /plan, and technical context files to reduce ambiguities in AI usage. * Maintain documentation of technical principles and domain rules guiding system evolution. * Review Pull Requests to ensure code (including AI-generated code) complies with BIM rules, acceptance criteria, and existing technical decisions. * Support squads and products technically dependent on developed rules and services. **Mandatory Requirements (Hard Skills)** * Solid experience with Autodesk technologies, especially CDE environments (preferably Autodesk Construction Cloud – ACC). * Practical experience with BIM models, their parameters, data structures, and validation processes. * Consistent understanding of BIM methodology and its compliance processes. * Understanding of the relationship among design, technical specifications, and estimating. * Backend Python development experience (FastAPI, Django, or Flask). * Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL. * Ability to translate business and BIM domain rules into computational logic. * Familiarity with Generative AI applied to development. * Knowledge of Prompt Engineering (Claude Sonnet 4\.5, Opus or equivalents). **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with microservices, messaging (RabbitMQ/Kafka), CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes. * Experience with VS Code, GitHub Copilot, and tools such as Spec Kit / specify‑cli. * Ability to identify hallucinations, inconsistencies, and logical flaws in AI-generated code or rules. * Experience with TDD for validating AI-assisted code. * Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP) for integrating sources like ACC, SAP, Datadog, or other systems. * Knowledge of React or any .NET Framework language; * Experience with Autodesk ecosystem APIs (Revit API, APS/Forge). * Knowledge of BIM standards such as IFC, BCF, and ISO 19650\. **Requirements and Qualifications** **Soft Skills** * Clear and technical communication to elicit requirements from BIM and Engineering specialists. * Systems thinking (**BIM + Software + Data**). * Autonomy, critical thinking, and quality focus. * Adaptability in a rapidly evolving technological environment. * Deep commitment to product and team success. * Assumes responsibility even when not formally assigned. * Proactively seeks solutions without constant direction. * Celebrates collective achievements and learns from mistakes. * Demonstrates courage in positioning, including during difficult decisions. **Additional Information** **Here, we are \#SangueLaranja!** We have been in the market for 17 years, working side-by-side with our clients to deliver transformative experiences.
