Job Objectives: Perform company deliveries with speed, effectiveness, quality, and at the lowest possible operational cost. Strive to exceed customer expectations through courteous and helpful service. When available, assist in moving goods during load map sorting, proper storage of received and/or returned products. Assist in warehouse cleaning and organization. Responsibilities: * Assist the driver in delivering goods quickly, efficiently, and effectively. * Carefully read notes on sales invoices, alerting the driver to align the route to meet requests regarding timeframes, regulations, and special orders—when necessary. * Assist the driver in organizing the load map. * Load the vehicle according to the established delivery sequence. * Provide appropriate packaging to protect fragile items and small parts. * General cleaning of the warehouse, loading docks, and yard. * Vehicle cleaning and maintenance. * Alert the driver when preventive or corrective vehicle maintenance is required. * Report any irregularities observed in transported products and packaging. Occasional Activities: * Assist in the annual stock inventory counting process. Requirements: * Completed or currently pursuing high school education; * Experience in this role and in logistics operations; * Aptitude for cargo handling; * Aptitude for customer service; * Focus and attention.
