Cooperating with the team to ensure an efficient working environment Description: Job Responsibilities: ABOUT THE POSITION The Steward (Dishwasher) is responsible for ensuring proper cleaning and sanitization of utensils, equipment, and work areas in the kitchen and restaurant, contributing to the maintenance of a safe and organized environment. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES * Wash dishes, cutlery, glasses, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils using appropriate cleaning equipment and products. * Ensure all items are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before reuse. * Perform deep cleaning of kitchen areas, including floors, walls, stoves, ovens, hoods, and food preparation areas. * Clean and maintain order in storage and waste disposal areas, as designated. * Ensure dishwashers and other cleaning equipment function properly and perform basic maintenance when necessary. * Report any damage or maintenance requirements to the immediate supervisor. * Strictly follow hygiene and food safety procedures as stipulated by legislation and internal hotel standards. * Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. * Assist the kitchen team with other cleaning- and organization-related tasks as requested. * Cooperate with colleagues to ensure an efficient and harmonious working environment. Requirements:* Completed elementary education; * Availability for shift work (6 days on / 1 day off schedule, afternoon shift: 2:40 PM to 11:00 PM).
