




Job Summary: A Steward is responsible for cleaning, organizing, and providing operational support in the kitchen, ensuring cleanliness and proper functioning of equipment. Key Highlights: 1. Responsible for cleaning and organizing utensils and work areas. 2. Assists chefs with pre-preparation and maintains a clean and organized kitchen. 3. Checks equipment operation and complies with food safety regulations. **Steward Responsibilities** * **Cleaning and Organization** * Wash, dry, and store utensils, pots, cutlery, plates, and glasses. * Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, preparation area, and pantry. * Clean equipment and work surfaces. * **Operational Support** * Assist chefs with ingredient pre\-preparation and organization. * Collect and sort waste according to hygiene and safety standards. * Restock service areas with utensils and cleaning supplies. * **Control and Maintenance** * Verify proper operation of dishwashers and supporting equipment. * Report any irregularities regarding utensils, equipment, or infrastructure to the supervisor. * **Safety and Best Practices** * Comply with hygiene and food safety regulations (handling of chemicals, PPE, waste collection). * Assist in pest control and maintain environments free from contamination risks.
