




Papello Embalagens is a food packaging manufacturing company expanding in the market, and we are seeking a Logistics Assistant to work in Santa Maria DF. The professional is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and storing products and materials arriving at the company; organizing and maintaining the company’s inventory, ensuring products are available for production or dispatch, among other duties. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Completed high school education or currently enrolled in undergraduate studies (in related fields); * Driver’s license category B; * Experience in the described activities or related areas; * Strong communication skills; * Interpersonal skills; * Organizational skills; * Leadership experience is a plus. **Job Responsibilities:** * **Receiving Goods:** Assist in receiving graphic supplies such as paper, inks, plates, and others, verifying invoices and checking conformity of received items. Inspect quality and quantity of received goods, flagging potential issues or irregularities. * **Storage and Organization:** Organize materials in inventory according to classification and arrangement criteria, such as type, color, weight, size, and expiration date. Maintain an organized, clean, and safe inventory to facilitate material access for the production department. * **Inventory Control:** Assist in monitoring inventory levels by recording material entries and exits in computerized or manual systems. Track inventory levels and alert the procurement team when replenishment of supplies is required. * **Internal Material Distribution:** Fulfill production department requests by selecting and delivering necessary materials to support graphic operations. Ensure supplies are delivered on time to prevent production line stoppages or delays. * **Packaging and Dispatch of Products:** Package finished graphic products according to each order’s specifications (format, quantity, packaging type). Prepare and organize products for dispatch, ensuring they are ready for shipment to customers or internal transportation. * ***Assistance with Internal Transportation:*** Operate pallet jacks or hand trucks to move materials within the printing facility, as required by each department. Support loading and unloading of trucks when necessary, ensuring material integrity during transport. * ***Documentation Control:*** Assist in issuing documents related to transportation and material movement, such as invoices and transport guides. Maintain an organized and up-to-date record of logistics activities, including material entry and exit movements. * ***Support During Inventories:*** Participate in periodic inventories by counting stock items and comparing counts against records to ensure data accuracy. Identify discrepancies and assist in resolving issues related to shortages or overstock in the warehouse. * ***Safety and Material Preservation:*** Follow safety standards for handling and transporting materials, using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required. Ensure sensitive materials (e.g., inks, solvents, plates) are stored and moved appropriately to prevent losses or damage. * ***Sustainability and Waste Management:*** Support proper separation and disposal of waste generated by the printing facility, such as paper scraps, packaging, and chemical products. Collaborate with the team to organize and properly dispose of waste, complying with environmental regulations. * ***Communication with Other Departments:*** Communicate with other departments—such as procurement, production, and warehousing—to ensure all logistics processes remain synchronized. Report any problems, delays, or urgent material needs to supervision or the logistics manager.
