Maintain forklifts in good condition and request maintenance. JOB DESCRIPTION Operates forklifts to retrieve pallets containing production materials and transport them to the warehouse. Maintains forklifts in good mechanical working condition, requests maintenance and refueling as necessary. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES Unload materials and goods from incoming vehicles and stack them at designated locations. Locate and transfer product batches onto storage or shipping pallets or crates. Identify damages and report deficiencies or quality issues. REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS To become a forklift operator, the candidate must complete a specialized forklift operation training course. According to NR 10, specific training provided by the hiring company qualifies the candidate for this role. The regulation does not require the candidate to hold a driver’s license.
