




Perform welding on pipelines, structures and equipment using the MIG process, aiming to join parts in accordance with required quality and safety standards; Control preheating, interpass and post-heating temperatures whenever recommended in welding procedures; Control the amperage of welding machines according to technical recommendations; Perform welding on materials and in welding positions compatible with your qualification; Comply with Performance Control requirements (weld repair index); Interpret welding documentation; Ensure safekeeping, maintenance and cleaning of machines, equipment, instruments and work areas as defined by procedures; Protect the welding area using booths and tarps to prevent compromising weld quality. Prepare parts to be welded by applying proper treatment to achieve perfect welding; Perform final finishing on the welded piece by cleaning, grinding or sanding worked areas. Monitor the use/consumption of welding materials and gases, recording completed work and materials used; Control the usage of CO2 gas; Carry out cleaning and maintenance of welding wires. Report to immediate supervision any possible failures or irregularities that may affect the proper progress of work, as well as breakage or damage to tools and equipment; Maintain hygiene and safety at work, practicing habits of cleanliness and organization; Practice and promote the Quality, Safety and Environmental Policy; Know and comply with norms, procedures or work instructions defined by the Quality, Environment, Safety and Occupational Health systems applicable to your work area, established by the company or current legislation.
