Laboratory Assistant

Job Summary: This professional will assist in preparing facilities, equipment, and materials, as well as organizing and controlling the warehouse, ensuring biosafety. Key Highlights: 1. Preparation and organization of laboratory materials and equipment. 2. Warehouse control and inventory management of materials. 3. Application of biosafety and occupational safety standards. * Prepare facilities/locations, equipment, glassware, solutions, and materials required for ongoing activities according to pre\-established procedures; * Wash and dry laboratory materials, and clean facilities, equipment, and instruments; * Receive, prepare, and distribute materials intended for laboratory activities; * Assist in the reception and registration of cadavers, as well as their reconstruction for final removal; * Assist in inventory control of materials required for the area of operation, taking necessary measures for their replenishment; * Organize and control the warehouse; * Perform duties applying biosafety and/or occupational safety norms and procedures; * Ensure proper custody, preservation, maintenance, and cleaning of used equipment, instruments, and materials, as well as the workplace. * Carry out treatment and disposal of waste materials generated from classes and experiments; * Perform other related tasks as needed or at the discretion of the supervisor.
