Job Summary: The nurse will provide nursing care to clinical and surgical patients, coordinating emergency and urgent care with an emphasis on safety and quality. Key Highlights: 1. Coordinate patient safety activities and emergency care. 2. Guide nursing technicians and assistants in complex cases. 3. Systematize care with a focus on safety and quality. Provide nursing care to patients across various units of the institution, both clinical and surgical. Coordinate urgent and emergency care, emphasizing safety and quality of care and individualized treatment. Contribute to patients’ rapid recovery. Guide and evaluate the performance of nursing technicians and assistants regarding safety in patient care. **Responsibilities and Duties** * Daily coordinate team activities related to Patient Safety measures, such as: correct patient identification and barriers for identified patient risks. Comply with and ensure compliance with nursing team documentation during your shift to guarantee continuity of care; * Daily supervise the “Surgical Safety Checklist.” Coordinate urgent and emergency care swiftly, accurately, and efficiently; arrange the emergency cart with medications, equipment, and qualified professionals to treat patients at risk of life-threatening conditions; * Daily guide nursing technicians and assistants regarding complex patients, pathologies, and clinical conditions. Systematize nursing care with emphasis on guidance, safety, and quality of care. Identify errors/failures in processes, report incidents, and forward them to Supervision; * Perform other duties pertinent to the position. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Completed undergraduate degree in Nursing; * Completed postgraduate degree in clinical care; * Prior experience in the field is desirable; * Active COREN registration; * Proficiency in computer use and Microsoft Office suite. **Additional Information** **Work Schedule:** 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, rotating 6x1 schedule. **SPDM** – Associação Paulista para o Desenvolvimento da Medicina is a non-profit, philanthropic civil association, recognized as being of federal, state, and municipal public utility in its headquarters city, respectively by Decrees No. 57,925 dated 03/04/1966, No. 40,103 dated 05/17/1962, and No. 8,911 dated 07/30/1970. (Instituto de Aposentadoria e Previdenciário dos Comerciantes) until the merger of pension institutes, after which it came under INAMPS administration, providing care exclusively to insured patients. In 1988, management transferred to the Government of the State of São Paulo as part of SUS/SP. In January 2010, SPDM – Associação Paulista para o Desenvolvimento da Medicina, qualified as a Social Organization of Health (OSS), won the public call process for managing Hospital Brigadeiro. The facility was reinaugurated in 2010 as the first public hospital in Brazil specialized in organ transplants. The name “Euryclides de Jesus Zerbini” honors the cardiac surgeon who performed Brazil’s first heart transplant.
