Coordinate and monitor corrective and preventive maintenance activities for vehicles, machinery, and equipment, developing work procedures and maintenance plans to identify operational and functional deficiencies and meet infrastructure needs. **ACTIVITIES:** * Continuously develop maintenance plans to ensure vehicles, equipment, machines, and systems operate efficiently and safely, based on site visits and needs assessments aligned with department leaders; * Forecast maintenance expenses for the following year according to planning, including cost estimation, reporting, and obtaining approval from the Board and unit manager for scheduling shutdowns and purchasing supplies/materials; * Annually, based on the maintenance plan, create a schedule for preventive maintenance of all vehicles, equipment, and machinery within the Group and send it to the unit manager for planning and execution, aiming to reduce unplanned corrective maintenance stops and subsequent operational delays; * Annually, based on system data, historical work order records, and inspection follow-ups, assess machinery and equipment requiring replacement or renewal in the following year to forecast related expenses; * When necessary, evaluate purchase/replacement/upgrading requests for vehicles, machines, and equipment not included in the annual plan, verify actual needs, and forward them for Board approval; * Conduct visits to Extreme South units and semiannual visits to Recôncavo units, or as needed/requested, to monitor maintenance processes for machines, vehicles, and equipment, resolve specific technical issues, and improve industrial processes; * Weekly coordinate with the unit controller and/or warehouse keeper using daily report entries and equipment hour tracking, identifying equipment in critical condition and directing the unit to stop equipment/machinery operation earlier than scheduled to prevent greater long-term damage; * Monitor, together with the unit controller and/or warehouse keeper, maintenance tasks assigned to authorized companies that are under warranty, ensuring service provider performance, efficiency, and safety; * Use specialized software to simulate and analyze mechanical system performance, identifying potential failures and improving operational efficiency; * Coordinate resources to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget through on-site and in-person monitoring; * Align with Central Maintenance Supervisors and jointly present monthly results to the Board to support and guide the department toward process improvements, management, and activity execution, focusing on vehicle, machine, and equipment maintenance and asset assessment; * Regularly coordinate and supervise the Maintenance team. Assign tasks, provide training, conduct performance evaluations, ensure work quality, and promote professional development to achieve objectives, enhance efficiency and effectiveness, and maintain a productive work environment.
