This person will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring machining processes for parts, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. They will configure and operate conventional and CNC machines, select appropriate materials and tools, and support maintenance and optimization of machining processes. They will work collaboratively in product development and process improvements. **Position: Machining Technician** **Area of Responsibility: Forest Equipment Maintenance Coordination** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Define machining steps and methods for parts according to technical specifications, determining applicable processes; * Interpret technical drawings and select suitable materials for manufacturing; * Plan and prepare resources required for machining processes, including tools and fixtures. For CNC machining, CAM software will be used for this activity; * Configure and operate conventional and CNC machining machines; * Perform adjustments to machines and tools to ensure product quality; * Carry out manual fitting operations when necessary; * Inspect parts during and after machining using measuring instruments and testing methods; * Identify and correct deviations in the production process. Document inspection results and propose improvements to optimize processes; * Perform and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance of machining machines and equipment. * Comply with and uphold occupational health, safety, environmental, and quality standards; * Participate in prototype development, manufacturing, and product improvement projects; * Document machining-related processes and activities; * Create mechanical technical drawings using 3D and 2D modeling software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Inventor **Requirements and Qualifications** **What We Expect From You:** * Technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Machining, or related fields; * Proven experience in CNC machining processes; * Knowledge of CAD and CAM software; * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings; * Familiarity with measurement instruments and quality control; * Knowledge of welding and material specifications; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams); * Knowledge of safety regulations; * Proactivity; * Organization and planning skills; * Self-discipline; * Interpersonal skills. * Driver’s License Class “B” * **Note: Submission of official Technical Course Completion Certificate (Diploma) is mandatory.** **Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Have):** * Completed or ongoing undergraduate degree; * Experience with SAP system; **Additional Information** **Benefits** * Medical assistance * Dental assistance * Christmas basket * Payroll-deductible loans * Workplace gymnastics * Private pension plan * Variable compensation program * On-site restaurant * Life insurance * Company transportation * Meal allowance **Selection Process Steps (All stages are eliminatory):** * Profile assessment of candidate registered on the Gupy platform; * Behavioral profile assessment; * HR interview; * Technical interview with manager.
