This person will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring machining processes for parts, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. They will configure and operate conventional and CNC machines, select appropriate materials and tools, and support maintenance and optimization of machining processes. They will collaborate closely with product development and process improvement initiatives. **Position: Machining Technician** **Area of Operation: Forest Equipment Maintenance Coordination** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Define machining steps and methods for parts according to technical specifications, selecting appropriate processes; * Interpret technical drawings and select suitable materials for manufacturing; * Plan and prepare resources required for machining processes, including tools and fixtures. For CNC machining, CAM software will be used for this activity; * Configure and operate conventional and CNC machining machines; * Perform adjustments on machines and tools to ensure product quality; * Carry out manual fitting operations when necessary; * Inspect parts during and after machining using measuring instruments and testing methods; * Identify and correct deviations in the production process.
