Your energy will be vital to: Be responsible for executing operation and maintenance activities at hydroelectric power plants to optimize plant asset performance with efficiency, quality, safety, sustainability, and respect for individuals. Responsibilities: * Develop and perform operation and maintenance (preventive, corrective, and predictive) of equipment and systems at plant facilities, following Neoenergia Group's O\&M procedures. * Develop and conduct operational safety, functionality, and equipment/system operation tests at the plant to identify and correct operational and production risks. * Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, equipment, indicators, and plant production/consumption reports—either from the control room or on-site—to identify alarms and operational, production, and safety risks. * Schedule, obtain authorization for, prepare, and operate plant equipment and systems for maintenance interventions—planned or unplanned—with the goal of maintaining, optimizing, or correcting plant safety, operation, and production levels. * Develop and participate in operation activity planning meetings to ensure awareness and commitment from all team members regarding generation scheduling, scheduled reviews, and/or repairs. * Develop and record updates of safety, operation, and maintenance information using computer tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. * Ensure compliance with Neoenergia Group's Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines through application of Neoenergia Group standards and procedures. * Respond appropriately to emergencies using available procedures and equipment on-site. * Maximize facility availability and reliability by developing and implementing maintenance planning for facilities. * Prepare and/or review technical documentation using computer tools. * Manage spare parts and components inventory using computer tools such as Excel and SAP. * Supervise contractors working under your responsibility through monitoring and guidance. * Maintain cleanliness and order throughout all internal and external areas through personal initiative during task execution, while also guiding other direct employees, third-party workers, and visitors. * Perform duties and keep your team focused on cost reduction and quality improvement, meeting deadlines to drive continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. * Perform duties with environmental awareness, pollution prevention, reduction and control of potential environmental impacts, and compliance with applicable environmental legislation. * Follow established safety procedures. Conduct daily inspections of personal protective equipment, vehicle safety items, and team safety equipment; safeguard the safety of all team members. Identify critical deviations posing risks to the community and report them to your leadership. Conduct prior risk analysis (JSA). Participate in the company's quality-of-life, health, and occupational safety initiatives.
