This person will be responsible for performing physical-chemical analyses at various stages of the cellulose production process, providing departments with data to support decision-making that ensures final product quality and compliance with environmental parameters. **Position: Laboratory Technician I** **Area of Responsibility: Technical Control Coordination.** **Responsibilities and Duties** **Main Responsibilities:** * Collect samples and perform physical-chemical analyses according to specific technical standards for each material type; * Collect cellulose at the final production stage to qualify, classify, and control final product properties per specifications; * Archive counter-samples for potential use in testing if customer complaints arise; * Evaluate metrological reliability of "online" analyzers and laboratory equipment, ensuring data accuracy; * Support laboratory reagent and material inventory management by recording system entries and withdrawals, and conducting physical verifications—ensuring adequate resource availability and confirming reagent quality and validity for analysis execution. * Prepare chemical solutions from salts following technical procedures, ensuring reagent availability for diverse analyses; * Report observed anomalies in analyses to respective department heads so corrective actions can be taken in operations or processes; * Train and guide interns and apprentices, contributing to their technical development and enabling them to perform tasks safely, efficiently, and in accordance with analytical quality and organizational requirements. **Requirements and Qualifications** **What We Expect From You:** * Completed technical education in Chemistry, Pulp and Paper, Environmental Science, or related fields; * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; * Experience in laboratory analyses; * Active CRQ (Regional Chemistry Council) registration or a technical course enabling immediate CRQ issuance; * Brazilian National Driver's License (CNH), Category B; * Availability to work rotating shifts or administrative hours, including possible alternation between work regimes as required by the area. * Proactivity; * Self-discipline; * Organization; * Interpersonal skills—cooperation and ability to work effectively in teams; * Commitment to safety, health, and environmental standards and practices. **Additional Information** **Benefits:** * Medical assistance * Dental assistance * Christmas basket * Payroll-deductible loan * Workplace gymnastics * Private pension plan * Variable compensation program * On-site cafeteria * Life insurance * Company-provided transportation * Meal allowance * Wellhub (formerly Gympass) **Selection Process Stages (all stages are eliminatory):** * Profile assessment of the candidate registered on the Gupy platform; * Behavioral profile assessment; * HR interview; * Technical interview with the manager; * Selection committee review.
