This person will be responsible for performing operational maneuvers, collecting and analyzing samples (biological sludge, WTP sludge, microscopy, and raw materials), as well as inspecting area equipment related to water intake and outfall, intervening when necessary to ensure continuity and efficiency of processes, complying with quality, safety, and environmental standards, always aligned with Veracel's purpose and code of ethics. **Position: Operator Area I WTP WTS Causticizing Furnace** **Department: Causticizing Furnace Coordination** **Responsibilities and duties** **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform RIO (Operational Inspection Route), checking the operating conditions of equipment, opening maintenance work orders in SAP if necessary, and reporting any deviations or issues identified in the area to the panel operator; * Monitor chemical dosing, maintaining the operational conditions of chlorination, flocculation, sedimentation, and filtration processes; * Monitor chemicals by requesting assistance from the panel operator, maintaining operational conditions of screening, neutralization, clarifiers, reactor, and ponds in the area; * Perform microscopic analysis of microbiota to maintain activated sludge quality; * Maintain process operations by executing instructions received from the Panel Operator; * Release equipment for maintenance following safety procedures to prevent accidents; * Perform manual valve opening and closing operations upon request from the panel operator, adhering to established rules and procedures; * Keep the workplace clean and organized, contributing to personal and operational safety; * Guide service providers on handling industrial waste to ensure safety and environmental protection. * Assist in training and developing new area operators as directed by the technical assistant/area coordinator; * Provide technical support in closing production orders within your area; * Support the PG facilitator process when requested; * Support the development and updating of area procedures when requested. **Requirements and qualifications** **What we expect from you:** * Completed Technical degree in Pulp Production, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields; **It will be an advantage if you have:** * Completed or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree; * Experience in pulp production activities; * Knowledge of SAP and PIMS; **Additional information** **Benefits:** * Medical insurance * Dental insurance * Christmas basket * Payroll-deducted loan * Workplace gymnastics * Private pension plan * Variable compensation program * On-site restaurant * Life insurance * Company transportation * Meal allowance * Wellhub (formerly Gympass) **Process stages (all stages are eliminatory):** * Candidate profile assessment via Gupy platform; * Behavioral Profile Assessment; * HR Interview; * Technical interview with manager; We are Veracel Celulose.
