Job Summary: The Environmental and Sustainability Assistant will support environmental, quality, and management routines, contributing to compliance with legal requirements and sustainability initiatives. Contribution to the company’s sustainability culture The Environmental and Sustainability Assistant will support environmental, quality, and management routines, contributing to compliance with legal requirements, operational best practices, and the company’s sustainability initiatives. **Requirements:** Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry / Environmental Engineering; Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office); Familiarity with ABNT ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 management standards — **an advantage**; Experience in sustainability, particularly in preparing sustainability reports and socio-environmental indicators — **an advantage**; Knowledge of environmental legislation and technical standards; Laboratory analysis and sample collection skills; Familiarity with environmental management systems; Teamwork and effective communication skills. It is expected that the candidate will work collaboratively across departments to ensure legal compliance, drive continuous improvement, and strengthen the company’s sustainability culture. * Support the Executive for Quality, Systems, and Management in area-related tasks; * Respond to requests from other departments regarding environmental and sustainability matters; * Prepare, type, and update technical documents such as SDSs, labels, technical data sheets, and emergency response sheets; * Input and monitor environmental performance indicators and waste movement spreadsheets; * Support monitoring, control, and disposal of chemical and hazardous waste; * Monitor wastewater management and atmospheric emissions; * Verify proper storage, handling, and transportation of chemicals in accordance with environmental regulations; * Support maintenance and control of environmental licenses and legal conditions; * Organize and keep up-to-date documentation required by environmental agencies; * Support implementation of sustainable practices and ESG initiatives; * Assist in data collection for sustainability reports and indicators; * Collaborate in delivering internal environmental training; * Verify environmental compliance of suppliers and service providers; * Monitor waste collection and transportation processes with licensed companies; * Support internal and external environmental audits; * Initiate, track, and close non-conformance records.
