Job Summary: The Accounting/Tax Assistant will be responsible for tax and fiscal routine tasks, including controlling, calculating, and issuing documents to ensure compliance with legal obligations. Ensuring tax compliance and organizing information **Summary of Responsibilities:** The Accounting/Tax Assistant will be responsible for the company's tax and fiscal routine tasks, including controlling, calculating, and issuing documents to ensure compliance with legal obligations. Key responsibilities include: * Recording and verifying fiscal invoices (purchases, sales, returns, consignments, and imports); * Issuing billing and other revenue documents; * Calculating and assessing taxes, including ISS (own, third-party, substitute, and freight), ICMS, PIS, COFINS, CSLL, and IRRF; * Preparing and submitting ancillary obligations, such as DCTF, ECF, DIRF, SPED Fiscal, GIA, SINTEGRA, DMA, and FCI; * Managing and closing inventory, import costs, and CIAP (Permanent Active ICMS Credit Control); * Monitoring and resolving tax-related issues; * Monitoring and verifying documents in the Arquivei system; * Providing internal customer support and assisting the commercial department by clarifying questions regarding fiscal invoice issuance and tax processes. The role ensures tax compliance, information organization, and support to other departments within the company. **Requirements:** * Currently pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in Accounting Sciences * Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite) * Prior experience in this role * Experience with the Protheus ERP system is a plus **Work Modality / Location:** * Hybrid \- Monday to Friday (8:00 AM to 5:30 PM \- 1-hour lunch break) * Porto Seco Pirajá \- Salvador/BA
