**Position: Occupational Safety Technician** **Company:** Strong Metais – industry specialized in manufacturing metal roofing sheets, gutters, and flashing. We are hiring an **Occupational Safety Technician** to serve as the **sole responsible person for the occupational safety department**, leading all prevention, control, and training activities within the metallurgical plant. We seek a candidate who is **rigorous, disciplined, firm in enforcing regulations**, and capable of ensuring a safe and organized work environment. **Responsibilities** * Be fully responsible for the entire Occupational Safety area. * Conduct ongoing training for the entire team. * Implement and enforce the correct use of PPE and collective protective equipment (CPE). * Monitor production routines and act preventively. * Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions. * Develop and update safety documents, technical reports, and procedures. * Ensure strict compliance with Brazilian Regulatory Standards (NRs) and other applicable legislation. * Conduct training sessions. **Requirements** * Completed technical education as an **Occupational Safety Technician**. * Experience in the **metallurgical industry** will be considered a strong advantage. * Rigorous, responsible, detail-oriented profile with firm oversight capabilities. * Ability to conduct training and guide teams. * Capacity to organize the department and make autonomous decisions. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with CIPA (Internal Commission for Accident Prevention), SIPAT (Annual Internal Accident Prevention Week), and safety performance indicator management. * Experience working in high-risk operational environments. **Benefits** * **Starting salary:** R$ 2\.900,00 * **Meal allowance:** R$ 375,00 * **Transportation allowance or fuel allowance:** R$ 290,00 * **Dental plan** (after 3 months of employment). * **Work location:** Umbará – Curitiba/PR * **Expected start date:** January/2026 * **Working hours:** Monday to Friday, from 7:50 AM to 5:50 PM\. * **Career development plan.** * **Safe, collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional growth.** * **Ongoing training and capacity-building programs.** Employment type: Full-time Compensation: starting at R$2\.900,00 per month Benefits: * Meal allowance * Transportation allowance Screening question(s): * Do you hold a technical qualification in Occupational Safety? * Do you have experience in the metallurgical industry? * Do you have experience as an Occupational Safety Technician?
