And of course, we are always looking for talented people to help us have a positive impact on our industry and beyond! **Junior Procurement Analyst – Eunápolis, Bahia** **About the Position:** The Cocoa Procurement Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, planning, and managing the entire cocoa procurement process, ensuring the company has raw materials with the ideal quality, volume, and cost to sustain its operations efficiently and competitively. **Key Responsibilities Include:** * Procure cocoa beans from producers, farmers, cooperatives, associations, and commercial companies (intermediaries). Ensure settlement of purchased cocoa, including correct processing of payments and receipts. Register purchase contracts in SAP. * Monitor compliance with procurement and quality procedures at the buying station. * Ensure procurement activities align with company strategy, considering price, type, quality, and volume (Planned vs. Actual). * Market Analysis: Conduct market analysis to identify cocoa procurement opportunities and support strategic decision-making. * Supplier Management: Manage relationships with cocoa suppliers, including price negotiation, delivery terms, and development of the producer base. * Quality Analysis: Perform quality analysis of cocoa beans to ensure compliance with the company’s technical standards and requirements. * Contract Management: Administer contracts with cocoa suppliers, including renewals, adjustments, and negotiation of terms and conditions. * Prepare reports and analyses on supplier performance, cocoa quality, and procurement-related costs. * Cross\-Functional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with departments such as Production, Logistics, and Quality to ensure all operational needs are met. * Cost Analysis: Monitor and control unit (buying station) expenditures. Prepare reports comparing actual expenses versus budgeted amounts. * Administrative Support: Manage administrative procedures, supervise physical and accounting inventory control, and respond to unit audits within established deadlines. **Qualifications** * The role involves fieldwork, including travel to visit suppliers and participation in regional cocoa cultivation events. * This is a highly externally interactive position, involving daily contact with cocoa producers and suppliers. Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal relationship, and clear, professional conversation skills are therefore essential. * Proficiency in Excel and Power BI is considered a plus. * A valid Brazilian National Driver’s License (CNH), Category B, is required, with availability for frequent travel. * Candidates must reside in Eunápolis, Bahia. **Location: Eunápolis \- BA** At Barry Callebaut, we are committed to Diversity \& Inclusion.
