Description

Job Summary: A professional responsible for conducting inspections, water service disconnections and reconnections, standardization of water installations, as well as performing various hydraulic services and maintaining equipment. Key Highlights: 1. Execution of hydraulic services and maintenance of water infrastructure. 2. Installation, replacement, and calibration of water meters. 3. Vehicle operation and compliance with health and safety regulations. Perform tasks under frequent supervision; Conduct inspections of water connections; Perform disconnections of water connections; Perform reconnections of water connections; Standardize water meter pedestals and service lines; Paint water connections and apply asphaltic resurfacing; Remove irregularities (service lines and pedestals) and complete incident reports and building inspection reports; Install shut-off valves; Install and replace water meters; Remove water meters for meter calibration; Perform hydraulic services related to water leaks in transmission mains, distribution networks, service lines, valves, and pedestals; Perform water system installation services; Provide water supply services, perform disconnections, trench excavation, soil compaction, and site cleanup; Open and close valves and perform purging on water distribution networks; Inspect visible abnormalities in water quality within the distribution network; Assist in reservoir cleaning; Measure water distribution network pressure and meter readings; Maintain work equipment in perfect condition and cleanliness; Comply with company standards and procedures relevant to the area of operation; Operate vehicles used for activities efficiently and safely; Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and properly use personal and collective protective equipment; Commit to Quality Management, Environmental, and Occupational Health and Safety areas; Perform other related tasks as directed by the organization and under the guidance of the immediate supervisor.
