We as a growth oriented market leader invite you to join us on our journey from good to great! **Purpose of Role and Value add:** * Commodity management Logistics forwarding and packaging (approx. global spend of 45 M €) * Drive standardization and cross\-functional optimization (global standards, optimized usage, preferred suppliers, decreased complexity) * Ongoing analysis of the various sub\-categories as well as identification and realization of savings potential and cost optimization based on expertise, bundling and global leverage * Build strong and reliable relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers **Key Outputs:** * Global sourcing strategy * Development of Target Supplier Panel * Demand Management (in cross\-functional efforts) * Contract and performance summary for stakeholders * Compliant frame contracts * Reporting (savings/performance) * Early involvement in specification and demand management and involvement of SCM/planning * TCO optimization **Main Responsibilities:** * Enhance and Implement global purchasing strategy * Drive standardization of purchasing globally and build and disseminate category\-specific expertise * Run global RFx * Negotiations frame contracts with main/ preferred suppliers * Drive standardization of reporting and process governance globally * Lead negotiations supported by regional buyers * Work closely with supply chain regarding demand challenge and price agreements * Develops strategies for the Logistics forwarding and packaging spend * Conducts frequent risk assessment, designing and managing adequate measures to address supply and price risk for selected spend * Contributes in delivering bottom line / top line results, managing the commodity spend / projects according to long term planning and upfront aligned targets * Contributes to simplification and optimization of sourcing processes as needed **Requirements:** * Completed studies and 5\+ years professional experience in different roles, incl. strategic sourcing * Fluency in English Language * Strong technical and commercial understanding of the forwarding and packaging business * Willingness to travel (25%) * Profound understanding of business and supply chain TCO * Strong communication and facilitation skills / stakeholder management * Decision making/strategic thinking * Internal stakeholder management/supplier relationship management **Key Interfaces:** * Supply Chain Management Group/ Regional * Project teams * Internal stakeholders * Suppliers * Global/regional buyers * Divisional Commodity Leads * Direct purchasing functions across the group ***At NORMA Group, we believe that diverse perspectives drive innovation.
