Collaborate cross-functionally to prevent supply disruptions We are seeking a detail\-oriented and customer\-focused **Customer Service Representative (Material Buyer)** to support material procurement and ensure seamless communication between vendors, internal teams, and operational stakeholders. In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for material availability, delivery updates, and issue resolution, helping maintain strong vendor relationships while ensuring excellent service levels across the organization. This position combines customer service excellence with procurement coordination and supply chain support. **Key Responsibilities** * Act as the primary point of contact for material\-related inquiries from internal stakeholders and vendors. * Create and route purchase requisitions in the ERP system for approval. * Issue purchase orders and transmit them to vendors accurately and in a timely manner. * Confirm material delivery dates and update the ERP system accordingly. * Proactively follow up with vendors to ensure on\-time delivery and address potential delays. * Coordinate logistics and arrange pickups as required. * Communicate delivery updates, delays, and resolutions clearly to internal teams. * Collaborate cross\-functionally to maintain material availability and prevent supply disruptions. * Provide timely issue resolution while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. * Perform additional procurement and supply chain support tasks as assigned. **Working** **conditions**: * Working schedule: **Monday – Friday** **8 am\-5 pm EST** **(1\-hour unpaid break included)** * **Remote mode of work** * 10\+ business days of paid time off * Team building and corporate events * Equipment provided * A supportive team * 1–3 years of experience in customer service, procurement, supply chain, or related field. * Strong communication skills with the ability to manage vendor and internal stakeholder relationships. * Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar preferred). * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment. * Problem\-solving mindset with proactive follow\-up skills. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Outlook). ### **Preferred Skills** * Experience in materials purchasing or vendor management. * Understanding of supply chain processes. * Strong sense of accountability and ownership.
