Infrastructure Technician (Telecom)

Description

We are seeking an Infrastructure Technician (Telecom) to work for a telecommunications company located in Cachoeirinha/RS. The position is under CLT employment contract with a salary of R$ 2\.201,17 \+ benefits. Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, plus on-call duty according to schedule. **Responsibilities:** * Install, splice, and repair optical fibers; * Perform tests and measurements using OTDR and Power Meter; * Identify signal loss and correct network faults; * Assemble and maintain CTOs, DIOs, splice closures, and splitters; * Organize racks, patch panels, and structured cabling; * Install equipment on poles, towers, and technical environments; * Apply best practices for power supply, grounding, and electrical protection; * Respond urgently to incidents; * Collaborate with technical teams, NOC, and customer support. **Requirements:** * Completed high school education; * Driver's license category B or AB; * Basic knowledge of networks (TCP/IP and FTTH); * NR10 and NR35 certifications; * Proactivity, responsibility, and strong communication skills; * Team spirit and agility in problem-solving. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Prior experience in the field is a plus. **Benefits:** * Hazard pay (30%); * Meal allowance (R$ 28.50\); * Transportation allowance or fuel subsidy; * Health insurance plan; * Birthday day off.
