* We are seeking an electromechanical technician to join our Datacenter team in Rio de Janeiro. You will work in a challenging and dynamic environment, applying your expertise to ensure maintenance and optimal operation of the infrastructure of our new Datacenter in Porto Alegre. Your expertise will be critical to ensuring the safety and comfort of our employees and customers, as well as contributing to the optimization of our processes and excellence in our services.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
Inspect, measure, and monitor all electrical systems and equipment within the data center;
* Conduct on-site inspections and monitor the building and Data Center alarms.
* Operate and perform maintenance on de-energized or energized electrical panels; in the latter case, using appropriate clothing and PPE;
* Perform low-voltage building electrical maintenance.
* Implement best practices for datacenter infrastructure, operations, and maintenance;
* Suggest, implement, and supervise best practices for infrastructure safety at the Datacenter.
* Identify, implement, and supervise corrective and predictive maintenance needs for the datacenter infrastructure.
* Supervise customer installations within the datacenter.
* Perform minor installations to serve Datacenter customers.
* Replace lamps and repair internal and external lighting;
* Install electrical circuits and circuit breakers for AC and DC;
* Monitor third-party maintenance activities for air conditioning systems, fire protection systems, electrical installations, water systems, generator systems, battery systems, and any other infrastructure-related tasks within the datacenter.
* Enforce datacenter security policies and standards;
* Operate and maintain air conditioning systems (Chillers, CRAC, Fancoils, CRAH, primary and secondary pumps, cooling towers)
* Perform periodic checklists for critical climate control infrastructure routines
**Requirements and Qualifications**
Technical Education in Electronics; Electrical Engineering Technician; Mechanical Engineering Technician
* In-depth knowledge of critical datacenter systems, including: diesel generators, UPS systems, fuel systems, switchgear, power distribution equipment, fire detection/suppression systems, and building monitoring systems.
* This role involves standard working conditions in a Data Center environment with rotating shift schedules to support 24/7 operations. Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent must be able to meet tight deadlines, handle pressure, and manage stress.
* The candidate must demonstrate confidence in customer-facing situations.
* Teamwork.
* Problem-solving attitude that satisfies both customer and organizational requirements.
* Highly proactive behavior.
* High level of organizational skills, focused on maintaining updated records and controls usable across the organization. Strong proficiency with all Microsoft Office tools and other supporting control systems.
* Flexibility for night shifts and rotating schedules.
