Job Summary: The Data Engineer will be responsible for the data infrastructure, ensuring data-driven decisions based on reliable, well-modeled, and accessible data, while supporting daily operations and AI initiatives. You will work on building and evolving the data warehouse, pipelines, and entire data foundation—supporting both day-to-day operations and strategic Artificial Intelligence initiatives. **WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU** **Required Skills:** * Proven prior experience as a Data Engineer; * Advanced SQL — mastery of complex queries, query optimization, and relational modeling; * dbt — solid production experience with data transformation; * Experience with data ingestion; * Data Warehouse — knowledge of architecture, modeling, and management of DW environments; * PostgreSQL — production-level administration and advanced usage. **Desired Skills:** * Airbyte — experience configuring and operating data ingestion connectors; * Python — for automation, ingestion scripts, and data manipulation; * Cloud environments, especially AWS or Digital Ocean; * CI/CD knowledge for data pipelines; * Familiarity with LLMs and structuring data for consumption by AI agents. **YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES** **Data Warehouse & Data Modeling** * Serve as the technical owner of the company’s Data Warehouse, ensuring a robust, scalable, and well-documented architecture; * Model data appropriately to support business analytics, reporting, and internal team consumption, implementing data layers (raw, staging, marts) following dimensional modeling best practices; * Build, monitor, and maintain data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Airbyte and dbt; * Ensure data quality and integrity through testing, validation, and production quality controls. **AI & Innovation Infrastructure** * Design and implement the data infrastructure required to power the company’s Artificial Intelligence initiatives; * Structure data stores and pipelines to enable the use of language models, AI agents, and data-driven automation; * Propose and implement improvements to the data stack focused on efficiency, reliability, and technical evolution; * Collaborate with business areas to map relevant data sources and ensure availability and reliability for AI and analytics use. **OUR BENEFITS** **HEALTH** * **Conexa Saúde:** We value mental health care, so we cover up to 4 therapy sessions per month. * **Health Insurance:** We value our employees’ health!
