**Position:**

We are looking for an **Ophthalmology Assistant** to work at Hospital Banco de Olhos, directly contributing to the quality of patient care and supporting medical teams.
### **Main Responsibilities:**
* Collect, organize, and record patient data to support examinations and surgical admissions;
* Attend to patients, providing support before, during, and after examinations;
* Assist physicians during ophthalmological consultations and procedures;
* Enter patient data into equipment used for examinations;
* Document examination-related information to assist in report preparation;
* Record appointments, observations, and close electronic medical records upon completion of examinations;
* Perform sterilization of materials and lenses used in the clinic after each appointment and at the end of the day;
* Monitor expiration dates of eye drops and verify appointment schedules;
* Request replenishment of office supplies and medications;
* Answer telephone calls and provide basic guidance to patients;
* Verify health insurance authorization forms during appointments and, at the end of the day, organize and forward them to the billing department;
* Conduct daily checklists to verify charts, images, and records, logging information into control spreadsheets.
**Requirements:**

* Completed high school education;
* Prior experience in healthcare (ophthalmology experience is a plus);
* Familiarity with electronic medical records;
* Organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication abilities;
* Collaborative, empathetic profile committed to patient-centered care.

**Compensation:** R$ 1.903,77

**Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM; Saturday, 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
