Job Summary: A professional responsible for performing centrifugation, sample screening, storage, and disposal, ensuring the integrity of biological materials and the quality of clinical analyses. Support in drafting quality documents Performs centrifugation and aliquoting of samples using specific equipment to separate components and enable clinical analysis; Conducts sample screening to obtain accurate and reliable results; Performs sample storage and disposal according to each material's storage specifications and disposal deadlines, aiming to comply with safety procedures; Receives and dispatches sample transport cases, verifying required items and appropriate temperature, recording details in a specific report to prepare them for use per procedure; Maintains updated record controls per work instructions to ensure information accessibility; Monitors temperatures of equipment, refrigerators, freezers, sample transport boxes, and cold rooms by recording data in control spreadsheets to ensure biological material integrity and promptly report irregularities to leadership; Requests material replenishment from immediate supervisor by checking inventory levels and inspecting critical materials to ensure traceability and validity of supplies and maintain units with necessary resources for operations; Cleans and stores utensils and other products and materials, responsibly using available resources to ensure continuous instrument availability and environmental cleanliness; Safeguards company physical assets and equipment by observing conservation, maintenance, and cleanliness of the environment, immediately reporting observed irregularities to leadership to preserve organizational assets; Supports drafting of quality system documents related to the technical area to ensure compliance with Good Practices, Quality Standards, and Biosafety regulations; Performs preventive and corrective equipment maintenance as needed and under clinical analyst supervision. Performs clinical analysis of biological materials through critical interpretation of results, conducting assays and calibrations to ensure area quality and productivity. Performs calibrations and quality controls under clinical analyst supervision. Prepares reagents used in the department per standard operating procedures to sustain the analytical process for result evaluation. Uses reagents and laboratory supplies rationally based on strategic guidelines and participation in trainings and meetings to optimize material usage. Identifies needs for material and supply replenishment within the area by analyzing inventory levels to internally meet area requirements. Enters results into the system when required and under clinical analyst supervision.
