Maintaining organization in offices, industries, and schools A cleaning agent (or cleaning assistant) is responsible for maintaining hygiene, preservation, and organization of indoor and outdoor environments, such as offices, industries, and schools. Their duties include sweeping, mopping, waxing floors, dusting furniture, disinfecting surfaces (bathrooms, kitchens), collecting garbage, and restocking hygiene supplies.
