Job Summary: The Facility Maintenance Assistant supports facility conservation by performing preventive maintenance and minor corrective repairs in electrical, plumbing, and masonry systems. Carries out basic electrical, plumbing, and general repair services The **Facility Maintenance Assistant** is responsible for supporting the conservation and proper functioning of company facilities by performing preventive maintenance and minor corrective repairs. This role includes basic electrical tasks such as replacing light bulbs, outlets, and circuit breakers, as well as inspecting installations and reporting more complex malfunctions. They also perform basic plumbing repairs, including unclogging and fixing leaks, maintaining filters and water tanks. They carry out touch-up painting, wall and floor repairs, replacement of coverings, door and window adjustments, and assist with equipment assembly and relocation. The professional conducts periodic building inspections, supervises third-party service providers, ensures safety in maintenance areas, and keeps tools and materials organized. They are also responsible for managing spare parts inventory and recording activities in work orders.
