Focus on technically robust and economically optimized products **Company:** Atman **ABOUT THE POSITION** We are looking for an Electronic Engineer with strong technical expertise and practical production insight, capable of working both on hardware development and industrialization as well as interfacing with manufacturing. This role is strategic to ensure that developed products are technically robust, industrially viable, and economically optimized. The professional will serve as the technical liaison between development teams (hardware and firmware) and production, ensuring project requirements are accurately translated into efficient and scalable manufacturing processes. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Development and review of electronic designs (analog, digital, and power) * Direct technical support to production and test engineering * Definition and improvement of assembly and validation processes * Analysis and resolution of field and production failures (RCA) * Monitoring of pilot batches and production ramp-up * Preparation and maintenance of manufacturing technical documentation * Technical interface with PCB suppliers and manufacturers * Analysis and optimization of BOM with focus on cost and availability * Ensuring compliance with technical standards and regulatory requirements * Technical support for certifications and homologations **REQUIREMENTS** * Completed or nearing completion of a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Control and Automation Engineering * Experience in hardware development and PCB layout * Familiarity with electronic production processes (SMT, THT, inspection, functional testing) * Knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded systems * Experience with communication protocols (RS-485, CAN, SPI, I2C, Ethernet) * Ability to diagnose failures using bench instruments * Experience with hardware version control and technical documentation * Solid Excel proficiency **PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS** * Experience with NPI (New Product Introduction) * Knowledge of DFM / DFA / DFT * Experience with environmental and robustness testing * Experience with infrastructure or critical-systems products * Knowledge of reliability analysis (MTBF, FMEA) * Experience in embedded firmware development in C/C++ * Microcontroller programming beyond Arduino platforms (e.g., STM32, ESP32, PIC, etc.) * Experience with low-level debugging (JTAG, logic analyzer, oscilloscope) * Firmware + hardware integration (board bring-up and functional validation) **EXPECTED PROFILE** * Process-oriented mindset with commitment to continuous improvement * Ability to engage in technical dialogue across multidisciplinary teams * Problem-solving attitude and hands-on approach * Technical organization and discipline * System-level product vision (not just isolated boards) **SALARY RANGE** R$ 4.000 to R$ 7.000 Position classification based on technical evaluation and experience.
