Responsibilities: **The Opportunity** Responsible for maintenance and support of production lines—packaging and process—through preventive and corrective interventions on equipment, aiming to maintain optimal equipment condition and continuously improve line efficiency, ensuring maximum productive uptime for production lines while always meeting final product quality requirements. Ensure compliance with food quality and safety policies, and ensure compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies. **Your Impact** Perform preventive, corrective, and line improvement maintenance; ensure proper operation of machines and equipment; contribute to maintenance performance indicators. Perform maintenance on electrical panels and/or motors; Knowledge of frequency inverters; Guide maintenance operators during maintenance execution; know trained operators and their skill levels; Develop and deliver training programs for operators. Evaluate maintenance operators daily and during talent alignment sessions; Identify and discuss with production managers deviations from the maintenance process model; Carry out assigned preventive maintenance activities and report verification and control of those activities. Request support from maintenance engineering if necessary; Perform corrective mechanical maintenance on food production process machinery and equipment, executing assembly and replacement of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic parts and components based on drawings, manuals, and technical catalogs to locate and correct faults, using general tools, equipment, and measuring instruments; Accurately complete administrative documentation on the day tasks are performed; Participate in daily meetings to report challenges faced and develop action plans to prevent recurrence; Attend task-related meetings with Manufacturing (quality, yield, film); Lead and participate in pre-preventive meetings; Adjust set-up to ensure perfect operation according to production process requirements; Read and interpret drawings, manuals, and technical catalogs to understand machine operation, facilitating fault identification and identification of required replacement parts; Guide/Train production operators on best operational and cleaning practices to ensure equipment preservation and efficiency; Provide information regarding potential equipment failure symptoms; Propose and implement line improvements, especially on lines where you serve as “godfather”; Notify production and maintenance managers about breakdowns exceeding two hours. Qualifications: **Who We’re Looking For?** Education/Course: Completed high school and technical training in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automation Engineering. Solid knowledge of electrical panels and instrumentation. Editing, configuration, and maintenance of PLCs and DCS systems (Rockwell RSLogix 500 and 5000, ControlLogix, YASKAWA, ABB). Desirable differentiator: Programming in C and Assembly for PIC microcontrollers (8-bit and 16-bit families), AVR, and 8051; programming in C, C++, and Visual Basic. Knowledge of electronic circuit design projects, software tools, and advanced electronics. Desirable experience as an instructor responsible for certain trainings or as an instructor for short courses. Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency. Experience (in years): Minimum 3 years’ experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or cosmetic industries utilizing robots in manufacturing processes.
