Learn more about our brand at: dex.co **Responsibilities and Duties** * Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on mechanical components, exhaust systems, air conditioning systems, conveyor systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, furnace components, and operate lathes, milling machines, and radial drills — all aimed at ensuring compliance with technical standards and full operational functionality of equipment used at the unit. * Review the work order schedule to prepare required materials, tools, and equipment for mechanical maintenance services at the manufacturing unit; * Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive mechanical maintenance on all equipment and associated accessories, ensuring their proper operation; * Lubricate, adjust, and calibrate all mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment according to each machine’s specifications, using appropriate instruments; * Disassemble and reassemble motors, correct identified defects, mark out, drill, tap threads, and cut parts manually or mechanically to fabricate components and machinery as requested; * Cut keyways in pulleys, clutches, gears, etc., using planers, drills, or milling machines; * Perform minor welding and oxy-fuel cutting tasks when necessary; * Record technical data related to completed work, required materials, and time spent on the work order, and register the information in SAP, our maintenance management system; * Operate forklifts if required and if trained and certified to do so, for moving materials and equipment during mechanical maintenance services; * Implement 5S practices in the area, including organization, cleaning, and painting of signage; Apply company-established policies regarding quality, safety, and environmental protection. * **Requirements and Qualifications** * Technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or SENAI’s Professional Apprenticeship Program (CAI) in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; * Industrial experience performing preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on machines and equipment, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, gearboxes, welding, and compressors; * Flexibility regarding working hours. **Additional Information** Aligned with our organizational culture, we **care for life wherever it may be**.
