Fabricate components for piping systems, tanks, boxes, valves, and other parts by interpreting drawings, sketches, and blueprints. Select and prepare metal sheets, performing layout, templating, bending, cutting, and assembly of parts according to technical specifications. Perform basic welding tasks. Assemble, install, and clad piping systems, metal structures, and general components either in the workshop or at job sites. Record activities in plans, work orders, or maintenance reports. Ensure the preservation and safety of machines, equipment, materials, tools, and instruments under one’s responsibility. Carry out other related duties.
