Description
The **Maintenance Assistant** will perform preventive and corrective maintenance services on company facilities, machines, equipment, and structures, contributing to the smooth operation of activities and preservation of the work environment.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Assist in maintenance activities (repairs, part replacement, welding, lubrication, assembly, painting, and/or electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic tasks as applicable to the area of operation), ensuring optimal functionality of machines and equipment;
* Assist in correcting minor-complexity defects, malfunctions, and failures in machines/equipment, furniture, or electrical and/or electronic circuits, as directed by supervisors;
* Support preventive inspections of machines and structures;
* Replace parts, clean, and lubricate equipment;
* Maintain cleanliness and proper condition of machines, tools, and equipment used, as well as the service area, organizing tools, materials, and the workplace;
* Accompany external service providers and technicians when necessary;
* Record performed maintenance activities;
* Support general maintenance department requirements;
* Comply with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Completed high school education;
* Valid driver's license category B with driving experience;
* Technical course in mechanics, electromechanics, electrotechnics, or related fields;
* Certifications in NR 10: Safety in Electrical Installations and Services and NR 35: Work at Heights;
* Willingness to cooperate.

**Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM**
