Perform machining, adjustment, and maintenance activities on tools and devices used in the extrusion process, ensuring dimensional accuracy, reliability, and performance of tooling and equipment. Support the maintenance and production teams in the recovery, standardization, and continuous improvement of components. **Responsibilities and duties** * Operate conventional machine tools (lathe and milling machine) to adjust, repair, or manufacture simple parts used in extrusion tooling, such as dies, heads, calibrators, and flanges. * Perform adjustments and polishing on extrusion tools and devices, ensuring dimensional conformity and proper surface finish. * Conduct dimensional measurements and visual inspections, ensuring tolerances comply with technical standards and process instructions. * Perform assembly and disassembly of tooling (dies, calibrators, heads), ensuring cleanliness, integrity, and correct alignment. * Support extrusion line setups, ensuring tooling availability and good condition prior to production start. * Maintain detailed records of machining and adjustment activities, keeping tooling history up to date. * Ensure organization, preservation, and identification of components and tools, applying 5S principles. * Strictly follow safety and lockout procedures (LOTO) during interventions. * Actively participate in continuous improvement activities, contributing suggestions and standardization of best adjustment practices. **Requirements and qualifications** * Completed Technical School in Mechanical Engineering, Toolmaking, or similar. * Experience in the role, preferably in tooling or mechanical maintenance focused on extrusion. * Knowledge of conventional lathe and milling machine operation. * Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and basic tolerances. * Proficient in using measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer, depth gauge, dial indicator). * Understanding of adjustments, polishing, and finishing of extrusion tools. **Desirable:** -------------- * Experience in **machining PVC heads, dies, and calibrators**. * Basic knowledge of **metallic materials and component wear**. * Experience in **tooling related to tube extrusion processes**. * Experience with **wear control, standardization, and tooling traceability**. **Additional Information** **Work Location**: Escada **Working Hours**: 07:30 \- 17:18 **We care about the well\-being of our Feras and offer benefits such as:** * Meal; * Year-end gift; * Health insurance; * Dental insurance; * Life insurance; * Private pension; * Wellhub (Formerly Gympass); * Birthday Day Off; * Citizen Company: extended maternity and paternity leave. * Discounts on our products; * Annual bonus (profit sharing); * Up to 50% discount on medications; * Health programs.
