Job Summary:
The Automation Technician will perform diagnostics and interventions on automation systems, as well as corrective, preventive, and predictive electrical maintenance on industrial machinery.

The **Automation Technician** will perform diagnostics and interventions on automation systems, as well as corrective, preventive, and predictive electrical (low-, medium-, and high-voltage) maintenance, according to the area of operation, on machines and equipment within the industrial complex.
**Responsibilities and Duties**
* Repair, replace parts, assemble, and test electrical or motor assemblies, power and telecommunications networks and installations (as applicable to the area of operation), ensuring optimal operation of machines and equipment in the industrial complex;
* Identify and correct defects, failures, and damages in machines/equipment or electrical and/or electronic circuits through technical analysis and measurement and control instruments;
* Perform maintenance on medium- and high-voltage power substations to minimize power supply failures to the company, as well as analyze and implement grounding systems to prevent electric shocks and damage to installed equipment;
* Serve as an instructor for departmental/company training programs, training operators and department staff to achieve established objectives and assist maintenance teams in diagnosing issues and making decisions to resolve process failures;
* Participate in the analysis and planning of corrective and preventive actions, providing information and suggestions to other technicians and supervisors;
* Monitor automated systems, equipment, and automated processes.
**Requirements and Qualifications**
* Completed Technical Course in Electronics, Industrial Automation, or related fields;
* Prior experience in the field is considered a plus.
