Managing measurement equipment and conducting MSA studies. **Requisition ID:**46847 **Job Location(s):**Caxias do Sul, BR **Employment Type:**Full Time **Segment:**Danfoss Power Solutions Segment **Job Function:**Quality and Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) **Work Location Type:**Remote **Quality Technician (Metrology)** Danfoss’s facility in Caxias do Sul/RS has an opening for a Quality Technician whose purpose is to provide support in product and process development, production, and monitoring—identifying nonconformities per established standards through inspections and measurements, delivering reports, and performing tests. Maintain manufacturing-related processes in compliance with calibration standards, chemical analysis requirements, and measurement process rules. **Key Responsibilities** * Support manufacturing line needs by advising on issues arising from those lines. * Participate in system audits to ensure proper maintenance of management systems. * Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement teams (TIP). * Attend technical meetings with engineering and supplier quality teams to provide technical support. * Perform dimensional inspection of products and components as requested, conduct relevant technical analyses, deliver technical reports within scheduled deadlines, and contribute to service efficiency. * Program and operate CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and other automated equipment (CNCs). * Complete dimensional reports (ISIR) and conduct capability studies of manufactured items using internal laboratory measurement and testing resources or external services, to provide necessary information for PPAP approval of these items. * Record nonconforming products in SAP, notify and inform suppliers of the issue, then initiate containment and return processes. * Perform activities related to deviation control and concessions at the factory. * Manage measurement equipment and maintain the equipment calibration schedule as defined; evaluate calibration certificates and perform preventive maintenance to keep equipment in good working condition.
